News Release – 6/21/2024
On the morning of 06/12/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of loose dogs running into a yard in Red Lake Falls. The owner of the dogs was counseled and warned about the ordinance violation.
On the evening of 06/14/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a vehicle that had some damaged windows parked at a location in Garnes Township. A Red Lake County deputy searched the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. The following morning, another Red Lake County deputy located the vehicle. The owner was contacted, and the vehicle was removed.
On the afternoon of 06/15/24, Emil Fred Desmarais (62) of Grand Forks was cited for speeding on CR. #11 west of Red Lake Falls.
On the evening of 06/15/24, Matthew Colin Singletary (28) of St. Hilaire was cited for speeding on CR. #13 west of Red Lake Falls.
On the morning of 06/16/24, Paul Adrian Hoff (66) of Underwood, MN was cited for speeding on CR. #5 north of Oklee.
On the afternoon of 06/16/24, a Red Lake County deputy spoke with an individual who was having issues with an ex. They claimed they were being harassed and also had some questions about division of personal property. The deputy counseled and advised the reporter.
On the evening of 06/17/24, Danielle Leanne Watne (27) of Gully was cited for speeding on CR. #1 east of Plummer.
On the evening of 06/17/24, an Oklee juvenile was cited for speeding on CR. #5 north of Oklee.
On the morning of 06/18/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of some small children riding motor bikes on the north side of Red Lake Falls. Red Lake County law enforcement officers responded and located the juveniles. The children and the parents were counseled, and motor bikes were parked.
On the afternoon of 06/18/24, Andrew Don Hanson (29) of Shevlin was cited for speeding on CR. #5 north of Oklee.
On the evening of 06/18/24, Hunter Perry James Lundeen (24) of Red Lake Falls was cited for misdemeanor reckless driving in the city of Oklee.
On the evening of 06/19/24, Brendon Fox (29) of Farmland, IN was cited for speeding on CR. #49, east of CR. #12.
On the evening of 06/19/24, Corey James Stately (38) of Red Lake was cited for misdemeanor driving after revocation and no proof of current motor vehicle insurance on Hwy. #92 south of Oklee.
On the evening of 06/19/24, Jonathan Michael Greene (32) of Red Lake was cited for no proof of current motor vehicle insurance on Hwy. #92 south of Oklee.
