News Release – 4/4/25
On the afternoon of 03/31/25, Red Lake County deputies responded to Red Lake Falls Township residence to assist an adult female who had fallen and could not get up. They provided assistance, and fortunately the female was not injured, so no further intervention was necessary.
On the afternoon of 03/31/25, a Plummer resident reported a theft of property. That report remains under investigation.
On the afternoon of 04/01/25, Michelle Rae Peterick (44) of Thief River Falls was cited for speeding on CR. #11 west of Red Lake Falls.
On the morning of 04/02/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a county resident was being harassed. A Red Lake County deputy spoke with the reporting party and advice was given.
On the morning of 04/03/25, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two dogs running loose in the city of Red Lake Falls. A Red Lake County deputy located and caught the two dogs. They were returned to the owner, and the owner was warned about allowing the dogs to run at large.
On the morning of 04/03/25, a Red Lake County law enforcement officer checked on a vehicle that was in the ditch along CR. #5 north of Oklee. The vehicle was occupied, but the occupant was not injured, nor was the vehicle damaged. A private party assisted and pulled the vehicle back onto the roadway.
