On the evening of 05/31/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a number of loose cattle on CR. #10 in Equality Township. A Red Lake County deputy responded. The owner was also notified, and they were able to round up the cattle and get them back into their enclosure.

On the evening of 06/01/24, a Plummer resident reported being harassed by some juveniles that were running around town. A Red Lake County deputy responded, but was unable to locate the suspects, but some neighbors and other adults in the neighborhood were questioned about the incident. This incident remains under investigation.

On the evening of 06/02/24, a Red Lake County deputy spoke with some neighbors in Red Lake Falls that were having a dispute. The involved parties were counseled, and the situation was mediated.

On the evening of 06/02/24, Red Lake County deputies were called to Plummer to investigate a child protection report. The deputies spoke with parents of a juvenile who was having some issues, and all agreed that the juvenile would stay with a grandparent for a couple of days. Some aspects of this report remain under investigation.

On the evening of 06/04/24, a Red Lake County deputy assisted with a property exchange/recovery in the city of Oklee.

On the evening of 06/04/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a little boy walking alone on Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls. A Red Lake County deputy responded and when they arrived, the mother was there to attend to the child.

On 06/05/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report that someone had lost a calico cat in the city of Red Lake Falls on 05/26/24. If anyone has information about the missing cat, they can contact the Sheriff’s Office so the owner can be notified.

On the evening of 06/06/24, Tara Dawn Beito (33) of Red Lake Falls was cited for misdemeanor theft. It is alleged that Ms. Beito stole some items from the Dollar General Store in Red Lake Falls in May of 2024.

On the morning of 06/07/24, Blake Roger Tvedt DeHate (28) of Plummer was cited for speeding on CR. #1 east of Plummer.
