News Release 05-03-24

On the evening of 04/28/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received several complaints about an individual driving a vehicle around Oklee, and they were playing their music extremely loud. A Red Lake County deputy spoke with the suspect and counseled them about the public nuisance. They were warned, and informed they would be cited for a public nuisance violation if the activity continued.

On the afternoon of 04/29/24, an individual, staying at the Paradise Falls Motel in Red Lake Falls, called 911 and requested assistance. A Red Lake County deputy and the Red Lake Falls Ambulance were dispatched. The individual in need of assistance was extremely intoxicated and they were having a medical emergency. The Red Lake Falls Ambulance transported them to the Sanford ER in Thief River Falls.

On the morning of 04/30/24, an individual called the Sheriff’s Office looking for some assistance with their unruly teenage child. A deputy spoke with the caller and advice was given.

On the evening of 05/01/24, a Red Lake Falls resident asked for assistance in locating their juvenile daughter who left their residence without permission. A Red Lake County deputy located the juvenile and returned them to their mother.
