On the afternoon of 01/15/21, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office collected a $100 cash bond to satisfy an active misdemeanor arrest warrant for Cordwyn Crane (36) of Red Lake Falls. Mr. Crane was scheduled to appear in Court in Red Lake Falls on 01/20/21.
On the afternoon of 01/15/21, a Red Lake County deputy responded to a vehicle in the ditch along Hwy. #59 north of Plummer. Assistance was provided and the vehicle was pulled out of the ditch. No injuries or vehicle damages were reported.
On the evening of 01/17/21, a Plummer resident reported they were being harassed in their home. That report is still under investigation.
On the afternoon of 01/20/21, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two vehicles in the ditch along Hwy. #32 north of Red Lake Falls. Red Lake County deputies responded to the area and provided traffic assistance until a wrecker could arrive and remove the vehicles from the ditch. No injuries were reported.
On the afternoon of 01/20/21, a Red Lake Falls residence reported that their dog went missing from the Klondike area of town. The dog is described as a black and brown bloodhound. If anyone has any information regarding this missing dog, please call the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 218-253-2996.
In the early morning hours of 01/21/21, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Thief River Falls Police Department. A Thief River Falls Police Officer had spoken with a Red Lake Falls resident on the phone and they believed they may be having a mental health crisis. Red Lake County deputies responded to the residence in Red Lake Falls to check the welfare of the person. It was determined that the resident needed further evaluation by a professional. They were transported to the Sanford Hospital’s Mental Health Unit in Thief River Falls.
