NEWS RELEASE 12-08-23

In the early morning hours of 12/02/23, a party reported a domestic disturbance at their residence in Red Lake Falls, and they wanted law enforcement to remove an unwanted party from their home. A Red Lake County deputy responded, and the unwanted individual had left prior to their arrival. No crimes were committed, and the situation was resolved.

On the afternoon of 12/02/23, a Red Lake Falls resident reported a theft of money. That report remains under investigation.

In the early morning hours of 12/05/23, a Red Lake County deputy responded to a report of a possible car break-in at a Red Lake Falls residence. The deputy located the owner of the vehicle, and they were having issues with their remote start. The incident turned out to be an equipment malfunction and not a crime.

On the afternoon of 12/05/23, Levi Craig Flatgard (21) of Oklee was cited for speeding on CR. #5 north of Oklee.

On the afternoon of 12/06/23, Bryce Jonathan Parker (26) of Oklee was cited for speeding on CR. #1 east of Plummer.

On the afternoon of 12/08/23, an adult female reported she had been assaulted by another female, whom she resided with, at their residence in Brooks. Red Lake County deputies responded and spoke with the victim who was waiting for them at the Brooks Cenex. The deputies then went to the residence to locate the suspect. The suspect was at the residence when the deputies arrived but was able to flee before she could be apprehended. The Oklee Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene, and they transported the victim to the ER to be treated for injuries sustained during the assault. This case remains under investigation.
