Record-Setting Rainfall Across Minnesota

MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – This April through June has set a new record for the highest average rainfall in Minnesota. According to Pete Boulay with the State Climatology Office, the preliminary total is around 17 inches of precipitation, surpassing the previous record of 15.22 inches set in April, May, and June of 2014. Finland on the North Shore received an impressive 17.5 inches of rain over the past three months. This marks a significant change from last year when Minnesota was experiencing severe drought conditions.
