Narrative: A rear-end collision occurred on I-94 westbound near Jamestown. A 2014 Ram 2500, towing an empty gooseneck trailer, rear-ended a 1994 Freightliner straight truck in the right lane. The impact caused the Ram to veer off into the north ditch, overturning and coming to rest upright facing east. The Freightliner ended up in the north ditch facing north. The driver and 7-year-old passenger in the Ram were transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, with the child later airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
