Ramsey County (trfnews.i234.me) — Alicia L. Najarro, the former manager of Taco John’s in Devils Lake, North Dakota, has been charged with felony misapplication of entrusted property. Court documents allege that Najarro misappropriated $5,509 in company deposits for personal use. This Class C felony carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
The alleged embezzlement came to light following an internal audit by Taco John’s, which revealed discrepancies in the financial records. Subsequent investigations by local authorities led to the formal charges against Najarro. As of now, no court date has been set, and Najarro’s legal representation has not issued a public statement.
