Ramsey County (trfnews.i234.me) – Trevion Armand Figgs, 21, has been sentenced to 150 months in prison for attempted second-degree murder after shooting at a Ramsey County deputy during a police chase on March 1, 2024.
Figgs admitted to being the masked passenger in a fleeing Honda Accord who leaned out and fired multiple rifle rounds at Deputy Joe Kill on Euclid Street in Saint Paul. The shots came from just 25–30 yards away, and bullet fragments struck the deputy near the collarbone, though a ballistic vest prevented serious injury.
At the time, Figgs was also facing charges in a separate June 2023 incident, where he allegedly fired 27 rounds in public. While the attempted murder charge in that case was dismissed, he received a concurrent 48-month sentence for a drive-by shooting.
Figgs, who also has a prior gun conviction, will be required to serve at least two-thirds of his sentence before being eligible for supervised release.
