  1. So can i "put down" raccoons whenever I want and then submit the brains for testing as well? I'll assume all raccoons have rabies, just like they did in Maddock. So i guess they must all be put down just to be sure, even if they dont display symptoms. Just as in the specific case. It makes the most sense. Mass culling for testing.

For my next trick, I'll start to put down every deer I see as well, assuming it has CWD. That way, there is no question as to my real motive for senseless slaughter of animals. Its not "poaching" its just medical testing for public safety.

Just because someone has a wild animal for a pet,. it doesn't mean the animal is sick. I had a neighbor lady who rescued a batch of coon babies and tried to raise them. She said she was gonna take them to the swamp and teach them how to be coons. 😂They were docile, not rabid.

  2. Erin shouldn't have been keeping the raccoon as a pet. It is not a domestic animal. But I see absolutely no evidence the raccoon has rabies, so they should not have euthanized it. They could have returned it to the wild. Don't assume animals have rabies just because they are not in their usual environment.

  3. Dumb to bring into a bar.
Also dumb for law enforcement to kill an animal that didn't bite anyone. Their original plan was to observe the animal for 10 days for rabies and release it or possibly put it in a zoo.
