Quick-Thinking Clerks Thwart Liquor Heist in Downtown Fargo

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Two clerks successfully stopped an alleged robber’s attempt to steal a bottle of booze from Empire Liquors in downtown Fargo. Joshua S. Fox Jr. of Fargo faces felony robbery charges after the incident, which occurred on July 13th at 10:42 p.m.

According to court documents, Fox grabbed a bottle of liquor and attempted to flee. The clerks quickly followed, grabbing his arms and retrieving the bottle. Fox then threatened to punch them, prompting one of the clerks to activate his taser. In response, Fox allegedly pulled a knife and threatened to kill the clerk before fleeing south on Broadway.

Fox was later arrested and is now charged with felony robbery and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
