Powerful Winds Exacerbate Flooding in Lake of the Woods

LAKE OF THE WOODS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Strong winds on this Sunday are worsening flooding problems at some areas on Lake of the Woods.
the flooding problems uh continue on lake of the woods on this sunday exacerbated today by high winds eye news a viewer photo here this is by grayston beach uh west of morris point apparently some propane tanks broke loose in the high water and we’re floating away let’s take it out of the beach here at morris point see big waves are breaking over the uh embankment here and up onto shore uh winds blowing at uh we’re 27 miles per hour up on lake of the woods today and the lake has risen another one inch over the past week it’s currently at three point 1063.3 feet getting closer and closer to that record level of one thousand sixty four feet set in july of 1950 i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
