Possible Blizzard Conditions Set to Hit Devils Lake Tonight as Severe Weather Approaches

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The National Weather Service in Grand Forks is forecasting possible blizzard conditions tonight as nasty weather rolls into our region.
good Monday morning march six 2017 Neil Berg here taking a drive on highway 2 between Kristen in Grand Forks the fish are coming up there ahead of us well it looks like we’ve got some major changes in the weather coming especially tonight this morning your drive to work no problem rope roads are good across the region some fog over the new fog and mist over the Jamestown area other than that the driving position go over however some big changes are rolling in tonight here’s a peets biker from the National Weather Service and grateful well we’ve got a strong low pressure system that’s going to pull up into Western North Dakota and then into southern Manitoban with it we are certainly going to get some very gusty winds up to 50 miles per hour probably after about 9pm tonight and that’s going to continue through about midnight Tuesday night Tuesday evening what what’s less certain is how much snow we’re going to get and the main snow threat is going to be up around town or county down three Devils Lake where you could see blizzard conditions if the end gets over into town or county enough but some of the models are suggestion before it gets out where is going to sort of lift the North up into Manitoba and which would mean less snow and more advisory type criteria so that’s kind of the big question right now how much snow we’re going to get and where it’s going to fall certainly again we’re going to have the high winds pretty much across the entire area but how much visibilities will be restricted with that falling snow is the the question we’re kind of trying to hammer out right now okay here here in the Red River Valley Grand Forks Fargo it looks like more rain or very little snow whatever it’s going to be rain through the day but then the cold front is going to sweep through after nine o’clock tonight and very rapidly change any lingering ring to to snow okay so that’s some ugly weather coming tonight it yes rolling along through the northern valley I’m Neil Berg reporting for I news TV
