Polk County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 38-year-old woman, identified as Shadae Renee Quient of Stephen, Minnesota, is facing a misdemeanor domestic assault charge following a pre-dawn incident in rural Polk County on April 30, 2025.
According to the citation issued by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 4:00 AM at 37335 170th Street NW. Quient was cited under Minnesota Statute 609.2242.1(2), alleging she intentionally inflicted or attempted to inflict bodily harm on another person.
The citation was mailed to Quient on May 9, 2025, and lists her as the primary “citee” in the matter. The complaint was handled by Deputy Sandy Cortez, badge number 5021. No fingerprints were taken at the time of citation.
The charge is classified as a criminal traffic mandatory appearance case and will proceed under the jurisdiction of the Polk County Attorney’s Office.
