The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Polk County Highway Department that plows are being pulled due to low visibility in areas of the county. Many county roads are impassible or glare ice, and there have been reports of vehicles in the ditch. Please travel slowly and be safe if you must travel.

There is a No Travel Advisory in West Polk County. Road conditions continue to deteriorate and there is zero visibility in certain areas. If you cannot see the road, neither can we. Please do not risk your safety, others or ours. Please check weather conditions prior to travel and you can also check the MN511 website for updates.
