Polk County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo woman is facing multiple felony charges in Polk County District Court following a traffic stop in Winger that allegedly uncovered methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.

According to court records, 43-year-old Jessica Marie Beske was pulled over on May 8, 2024, after deputies clocked her vehicle at 50 mph in a 30-mph zone along Highway 59. Deputies reported smelling marijuana inside the vehicle and, during a search, found a jar containing a crystal substance, a bong with tubing, a glass pipe, and a marijuana grinder. Beske allegedly admitted the substance was methamphetamine.

Deputies also discovered additional suspected methamphetamine inside a black bag, a torch, a coffee mug, and a scale. Field tests reportedly confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, with a total weight exceeding 50 grams. Authorities say no required drug tax stamps were affixed to the substances.

Beske was arrested and transported to the Northwest Regional Corrections Center. A search warrant was obtained for a blood or urine test, but Beske allegedly refused to comply despite being informed that refusal is a crime under Minnesota law.

She is charged with first-degree controlled substance crime – possession, illegal controlled substance taxation, and third-degree refusal to submit to testing. Court records show Beske has prior drug-related and violent felony convictions in Minnesota and North Dakota and remains on probation for a 2022 meth possession case.

If convicted on the first-degree charge, Beske faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
