The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following –

Alejandro Ramirez, 42 of Crookston for DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Jerry Gomez Jr., 23 arrested in Crookston for DUI

Kenneth Earl Thomas, 76, of Bemidji, for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety.

Jesse Jay Garcia, 41 of Crookston, for DUI

Lawrence Andrew Azure, 43 arrested in Crookston for fourth-degree DUI

Jeremiah Torgerson, 41 of Leonard, fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle

Jonathan Lee Stapp, 55 of Crookston, for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety

Crookston Fire Calls

On Friday, August 31, at 8:50 a.m., they were called to the 700 block of Holly for a carbon monoxide detector alarm. They found a faulty detector, replaced it, and cleared the scene.

On Monday, September 1, they were called at 10:29 a.m. to the 300 block of Ingersol Avenue for a fire alarm. They investigated and didn’t find anything. They reset the alarm and turned over control to the staff.
They were also called to Fairfax Township at 2:15 p.m. for a two-vehicle and deer accident. The victims suffered minor injuries.
