The Crookston Fire Department (CFD) responded to the following calls on 11/25/2021 –

At 1:19 a.m., the CFD responded to the 400 block of E Robert S for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, there was no danger present and the detector was found to have a low battery. The CFD replaced the battery and cleared the scene.

At 9:34 a.m., the CFD responded to the 1700 block of Widman Ln for a report of smoke in an apartment. Upon investigation, the cause was found to be a burnt outlet. The CFD called the maintenance staff to fix the issue. Once deemed safe, the CFD cleared the scene.
