Crookston Fire Calls
On Friday, November 21st, at 9:30 am, the Crookston fire department responded to a call about a vehicle leaking fuel into a creek on Highway 75 near the boat launch. On scene, there was a vehicle in a drainage ditch, realizing it was not leaking anything into the creek. They contacted the owner of the vehicle, who was not on scene; it was reported by a passerby. The towing company got the car out of the ditch. And the scene was cleared.
On Saturday, November 22nd, at 4:45 pm, the Crookston fire department responded to a call about a strong smell from the 1000th block of Highway 75. On scene, they used a gas monitor, found nothing, and the scene was cleared.
