The Northwest Regional Corrections Center reported the arrest of the following

Jesus Rodriguez Ortega, 70, of Erskine, for Harassment/Violation of a Restraining Order

Alexander Lavern Thompson, 25, of Fosston, for Harassment/Violation of Restraining Order

Christopher John Link, 54, of Grand Forks, for 2nd Degree DUI – Driving while impaired with two or more aggravating factors

Jared Matthew Qualley, 41, of Johnstown, ND, for 3rd Degree Drug Possession of Methamphetamines/Amphetamines in a School/Park/Public Housing Zone

Shawn Eugene Stevens, 35, of Mahnomen, for driving  after cancellation of license

Marla Lynn Kaste, 50, of East Grand Forks, for Terroristic Threats

Wayne Allen King, 39, of East Grand Forks, for 3rd Degree Drug Possession for Methamphetamines/Amphetamines in a School//Park/Public Housing Zone.

Crookston Fire Calls

The Fire Department was called out yesterday at 8:10 a.m. for an alarm activation on the 700 block of Pleasant Avenue. The Fire Department conducted a routine sweep and investigation of the property and discovered it was a faulty alarm. The alarm was replaced by the Fire Department, who then cleared the scene.
