Police Identify 16-Year Old Fargo Murder Victim & Suspect

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Fargo Police have identified a 16-year-old murder victim and the suspect. James Moore was shot and killed Monday night. The suspect in the case is Marcus Rexrode.

A 16-year-old boy, James Moore, was shot and killed on Monday evening in The 4400 Block of Ninth Avenue Circle. In response, the police department has invested significant resources into the investigation. On Wednesday, the department announced that 31-year-old Marcus Rex Road had been arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, a DUS warrant, and homicide charges. Two firearms have been recovered, and the department is working with the State’s Attorney’s Office to determine additional charges and investigate other individuals involved in the incident. The police still have active ongoing investigations into other individuals and pieces of evidence related to the incident.
