we have an update now from bemidji police chief mike maston regarding an early morning shooting with the man wounded uh this news release quote today at 3 2 a.m bemidji police were dispatched to an area at the pine ridge apartments on 30th street northwest for a report of gunshots callers reported hearing numerous gunshots in the area of the pine ridge apartment parking lot one caller reported he had been shot and was driving himself to the sanford hospital emergency room which was several blocks away officers arrived on scene but did not locate anyone in the area they did not they did observe broken glass in the parking lot and recovered numerous handgun shell casings bemidji officers also responded to sanford hospital where they located a vehicle with several bullet holes broken windows and a large amount of blood in the driver’s seat upon speaking with the victim officers learned that he had driven his vehicle into the pine ridge apartment parking lot and noticed three males near a parked vehicle as he approached them two of the males knelt knelt down beside behind the vehicle while the other began shooting through the windshield of his vehicle the victim stated he fled the the victim stated he fled the parking lot in his vehicle while the suspect continued to shoot at his vehicle the victim was not able to provide a description of the suspect at this time bemidji police continue to investigate this case witnesses are asked to contact the bemidji police department with any information the suspects in this case should be considered armed and dangerous individuals in the area of 30th street should be cautious and aware of their surroundings park vehicles and welded areas avoid parking alone and report all suspicious persons our activity in the area to bemidji police again a man wounded and suspects considered armed and dangerous on the loose in bemidji on this wednesday i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

Bemidji once a lake haven vacation place in northern minnesota … now it’s seems to be full of a bunch of wonna be gangsters…. Locals need to clean it up ASAP or it is only going to get worse.
pine ridge apts. management must be horrible, no background checks on tenants??, no lighting in parking lot??? any efforts made to make it safer?? Everyone needs to speak up, not acceptable!!
