The Ford F350 driver was identified as Lacey Renee Allen, 44, of Pine City, Minnesota. Troopers said she had non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to Welia Hospital in Mora for treatment. Allen was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Airbags deployed in the truck.
The passenger in the Ford F350 was identified as Elyssa McKenzie Sorrels, 21, of Idabel, Oklahoma. She also had non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at Welia Hospital in Mora. Sorrels was not wearing a seat belt.
The GMC Sierra driver was identified as Daniel Paul Allenson, 42, of Brook Park, Minnesota. He, too, had non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated at Welia Hospital in Mora as well. Troopers reported that Allenson was not wearing a seat belt. Airbags deployed in the Sierra.
Response teams
Several agencies assisted at the scene, including the Pine County Sheriff’s Department, Essentia Health Ambulance, and Pine County Fire. The crash remains under investigation.
