Hinckley Township, Pine County (trfnews.i234.me) — On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at approximately 9:31 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 35 near County Road 133 in Hinckley Township, Pine County. A 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by 73-year-old Karen Marie Moris of Pine City, veered off the southbound lane and crashed into the ditch.
Moris sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sandstone Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle’s airbags deployed upon impact. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The Pine County Sheriff’s Office, Essentia Ambulance, and Hinckley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
