BARRY TOWNSHIP, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) – A fatal crash involving two Ford F150 pickups claimed one life and left a teen critically injured on the evening of July 2, 2025, in Pine County.
Authorities say a 2021 Ford F150 driven by Kameron Lee Ellis, 63, of Hinckley, was traveling east on Highway 48, when a 1999 Ford F150 traveling south on Wildlife Road struck his vehicle. Both trucks came to rest in a southeast ditch.
Ellis was fatally injured in the crash despite wearing a seat belt. In the 1999 F150, driver Cory Shawn Olson, 40, and two children aged 13 and 12 suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while 16-year-old Kenneth James Olson sustained life-threatening injuries. All occupants were from Cambridge, MN, and were transported to HCMC.
Road conditions were dry, and no alcohol involvement is currently suspected.
