Perham Township (trfnews.i234.me) – On December 10, 2025, at 3:08 PM, a 2007 GMC Yukon, driven by 37-year-old Ricardo Zavala Martinez of Pelican Rapids, MN, veered off the roadway and overturned into the median on U.S. Highway 10 near Mile Marker 64 in Perham Township, Otter Tail County. The vehicle was traveling westbound when the crash occurred.
Both Martinez and his passenger, 62-year-old Martin Pantoja, also of Pelican Rapids, MN, were wearing their seat belts. They both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Perham Health for treatment.
The road conditions at the time were snow-covered and icy, which likely contributed to the incident. Perham Area EMS, Perham Fire Department, and Perham Police Department responded to the scene.
