Becker County, (trfnews.i234.me) – Donald Allen Baker, 51, of Perham, has been charged with felony theft in Becker County District Court after a series of shoplifting incidents at Menards in Detroit Lakes. Police were called on December 30, 2023, to investigate multiple thefts, with Baker and a female accomplice accused of stealing a total of $1,109.57 worth of merchandise. The shoplifting incidents occurred on three separate dates: $357 on October 29, $712 on December 28, and $39 on December 30.
Baker was released without bail on August 9, under the condition that he does not trespass at Menards. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 23, 2024, before Judge Tammy Merkins.
