And even if you are really stupid and think the book will stop a bullet, why not try it first with another book and then do it if it succeeds. What the fuark is wrong with people?
I mean maybe if it was a .22 and it was a few thick textbooks, and even then it might just slow it down enough to not go very deep in your body. But a .50 caliber pistol?
