Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — In a harrowing incident on March 21, 2025, Michelle Marie Holter, 50, of Thief River Falls, led law enforcement on a high-speed chase, culminating in a crash that left her with life-threatening injuries. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Holter was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on State Highway 32 around 12:08 p.m. when she attempted to collide head-on with another vehicle.

Authorities report that Holter was under the influence of THC at the time of the incident. During the pursuit, she reportedly claimed to be Jesus, adding a bizarre twist to the already dangerous situation.

Holter faces multiple charges, including:

  • Felony Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle

  • Felony Second-Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon

  • Misdemeanor Reckless Driving

  • Gross Misdemeanor Fourth-Degree DWI – Controlled Substance

  • Petty Misdemeanor Speeding (90 mph in a 60 mph zone)

After receiving treatment for her injuries, a warrant was issued for Holter’s arrest.
