Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Beltrami woman is facing serious charges after allegedly breaking into a man’s home, stealing thousands of dollars in tools and electronics, and pawning them across state lines.
According to a criminal complaint, Nicole Victoria Wojciechowski, 37, is charged with second-degree burglary and theft following a November 2, 2024, incident in Thief River Falls. The victim, R.C., reported waking up to find Wojciechowski gone—and his home ransacked.
Stolen items included multiple Milwaukee power tools, a PlayStation 5, a Nintendo Switch, and a staggering 65 Switch games. Surveillance and pawn shop records revealed Wojciechowski sold many of the items at First National Pawn in Grand Forks, ND, just hours after the burglary.
Despite her claim that the victim had agreed to pawn the items, cell records and surveillance footage contradicted her story. Law enforcement recovered several of the stolen tools and the game console, but many games were unrecoverable.
Wojciechowski now faces up to 10 years in prison and $20,000 in fines if convicted.
