Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me): Woman Arrested for Domestic Assault in TRF
A Thief River Falls woman has been arrested and cited for domestic assault following an incident reported in the city’s west side on October 4.
According to the Thief River Falls Police Department, officers were called at about 1:20 p.m. to a residence in the 100 block of Fourth Street West for a report of a domestic disturbance.
Police identified the suspect as 22-year-old Ashley Lluvia Olivares of Thief River Falls.
She was arrested and cited for domestic assault after allegedly assaulting a family member, causing or attempting to cause injury.
The report did not specify the extent of any injuries or whether medical attention was required.
Authorities said the case remains under review by prosecutors for potential additional charges.
Domestic assault is a serious criminal offense in Minnesota and can lead to jail time, fines, and court-ordered counseling.
Offenders may also face restraining orders or loss of certain rights depending on the circumstances.
