Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me): Two Injured in Thief River Falls Crash

Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Tindolph Avenue and Third Street in Thief River Falls on the morning of September 29.

According to the Thief River Falls Police Department, officers were called to the scene at about 8:11 a.m..
A 2008 Chevy Suburban, driven by Patricia Kabrel of Thief River Falls, was traveling north on Tindolph Avenue when she entered the intersection with Third Street.

Her vehicle was then struck by a westbound 1996 Ford Explorer driven by Shawn Robinson of Thief River Falls.
Both Robinson and his passenger, Amy Robinson, sustained injuries in the collision.
It was unclear from the report whether they sought medical attention at the scene or afterward.

Police cited Kabrel for an instruction permit violation and failure to yield.
Both vehicles sustained visible damage, and traffic was temporarily slowed in the area while the scene was cleared.

Authorities remind drivers to exercise caution at intersections and always ensure it is safe before entering.
Failure to yield remains one of the leading causes of intersection-related crashes in Minnesota.
