Pennington County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On May 16, 2025, Dale Rory Haugen, 61, of Goodridge, was arrested in Pennington County after being stopped for erratic driving. Deputy Hunter Roller observed Haugen’s vehicle swerving on wet gravel roads near 150th Street NE and 320th Avenue NE. Upon stopping the vehicle, Deputy Roller noted signs of alcohol impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol and Haugen’s bloodshot, watery eyes.

Haugen failed field sobriety tests and attempted to leave the scene, resisting arrest. He was eventually subdued and taken to the Pennington County Jail. A breath test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of .27, over three times the legal limit.

Haugen faces charges of third-degree DWI and obstruction of a peace officer. He is currently held without bail pending a court appearance.TRF News
