PENNINGTON COUNTY: Horse Killed in Early Morning Collision Near Plummer

PENNINGTON COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me)In the early hours of Tuesday, April 29, 2025, a Chevy Impala collided with a horse on Highway 59 near 140th Street Southeast, just north of Plummer, Minnesota. The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident shortly before 6 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle sustained no apparent injuries. However, the horse was killed in the collision, and the vehicle was reported to be damaged.

Jessica Hanson of Plummer was cited for Animal at Large in connection with the incident.
