Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 50-year-old Thief River Falls woman, Michelle Marie Holter, has been charged with multiple felonies after a wild high-speed pursuit that ended in a crash where she allegedly attempted to intentionally collide with another vehicle while impaired on THC drinks.
The Friday chase on Highway 32 saw Holter’s SUV weaving into oncoming traffic at up to 90 mph, eventually clipping another vehicle before crashing into a railroad crossing arm and landing in a ditch. She told authorities she was “supposed to die today” and that she was “Jesus Christ.”
Holter faces felony fleeing, second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, DWI, and more. Witnesses claim she had consumed as many as 72 Delta-9 THC drinks prior to the chase. Officers say she had also asked staff at a convenience store how to use a gun before the incident.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest after she was airlifted to Fargo in critical condition.
