FOSSUM TWP, NORMAN COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A late-night pedestrian crash occurred in Fossum Township when a 2015 Chevy Tahoe, traveling westbound on Norman County Road 29, struck a pedestrian near County Road 40 at approximately 1:00 AM on April 18, 2025.
The vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Jaidan Dwight Bartz of Ada, MN, was not speeding, and conditions were dry. The pedestrian, identified as Christopher Roger Lee, 41, of Twin Valley, MN, was injured and transported to Sanford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Airbags did not deploy, and Bartz, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured. Neither party had alcohol involved in the incident.
The Norman County Sheriff’s Office and Ada Police Department responded to the scene.
