Burnsville, Dakota County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A terrifying scene unfolded on the night of June 8th, 2025, at approximately 9:34 p.m. when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35W near Burnsville Parkway.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2025 Buick Encore was heading southbound when it collided with a pedestrian who was in the traffic lanes. The driver, identified as 59-year-old Eduardo Gomez of Waseca, Minnesota, was not injured in the crash and reported no medical care needed at the time. He was wearing a seatbelt and was not under the influence of alcohol.
The road was dry at the time of the crash. Emergency response included the Burnsville Fire Department, Burnsville Police, and HCMC Ambulance services. Details on the pedestrian’s condition were not immediately released, and the incident remains under investigation.
