Henryana Township (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities in Henryana Township, east of Park Rapids, dealt with a chaotic series of events on March 3rd involving Caleb Heide, who now faces a long list of felony charges.
According to court documents, Heide was first reported at a residence with a possible firearm, then later at another location wielding a hammer. When confronted, he made alarming statements, including “The cops are trying to kill me.”
He fled on foot, leaving behind a claw hammer, lighter, and a marijuana grinder. Shortly after, a grass fire erupted, prompting a response from Park Rapids Fire Department. Law enforcement later found Heide hiding inside a fire truck, wrapped in a rescue blanket.
He refused to comply, resisted arrest, spit on an officer, and screamed paranoid statements such as “They are trying to steal me!”
Heide now faces burglary, arson, two counts of assault on a peace officer, and obstruction of the legal process.
