Otter Tail County Man Faces Multiple Charges After High-Speed Chase

Otter Tail County, MN – A Pelican Rapids man, Levi Kent Barry, is now facing a series of criminal charges following a police pursuit in Otter Tail County.

According to court records, the incident occurred on February 15th, when an Otter Tail County Deputy attempted to pull Barry over due to outstanding warrants. Instead of complying, Barry fled, at one point attempting to drive across fields before his vehicle got stuck. When confronted, he allegedly resisted deputies.

Upon his arrest, law enforcement reportedly found 2.9 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. As a result, Barry is now facing multiple charges, including:

  • Felony fleeing law enforcement
  • Felony possession of methamphetamine
  • Misdemeanor driving under revocation
  • Misdemeanor improper use of a license plate

Barry will now have to answer to these charges in Otter Tail County Court.
