An Oklee man is dead following a two-vehicle accident Saturday in Rocksbury Township.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Oliver Ralph Kimbro, (86) was killed when the northbound 2000 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving collided with a southbound 2012 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Dale Marvin Brekke, (66) of Oklee. Authorities say the accident took place around Highway 59 mile marker 354.
Brekke was taken to Sanford Fargo. A passenger in his vehicle, Shelley Kay Brekke, (57) was taken to Sanford Thief River Falls. Both suffered injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. They were wearing seatbelts. Kimbro was unrestrained.
Officials say roads were snow and ice covered at the time of the accident reported around 11:46 am.
