Olmsted County, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A tragic incident unfolded Sunday morning in Rochester, where a local golf professional was struck and killed by a vehicle.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Nathan Westergaard, the assistant golf pro at the Rochester Golf and Country Club, was lying in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but Westergaard was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators report that the driver involved is cooperating with authorities, and the investigation is ongoing.
