Red Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) Red Lake County deputies handled several calls in late December and early January.

Reports came from Oklee, Louisville Township, and Red Lake Falls.

The Sheriff’s Office released an activity summary dated January 2, 2026.

Oklee apartment complaint

On December 29, 2025, a residential manager reported trouble with tenants in Oklee.

A deputy spoke with the manager and shared guidance.

Officials said the issue was not criminal.

The manager was told it was a landlord and tenant matter.

Louisville Township porch package theft

On December 30, 2025, a Louisville Township resident reported that a FedEx package had been taken from a porch.

The case remains under investigation.

Child custody dispute

On December 31, 2025, a deputy responded to a child custody dispute in Red Lake County.

The deputy helped calm the situation and documented the call.

Those involved were advised to take the matter to the Family Court.

Snowmobile trespass report

On January 1, 2026, a Red Lake Falls resident reported that a snowmobile was driven on private property.

The rider was contacted and told to stay off the property without permission.

Snowmobilers stuck west of Red Lake Falls

Later on January 1, 2026, deputies assisted snowmobilers stuck in deep snow.

The group was along County Road 11 west of Red Lake Falls.

They were given a ride and planned to return for the machines.
