Cass County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – A Westville, Oklahoma, man is facing felony charges after a violent family dispute in Fargo earlier this month.
According to court documents, 41-year-old Lawrence Vincent St. John was arrested following a September 3 incident involving a male family member. Authorities say St. John shoved the victim into a countertop, causing broken ribs.
Self-Inflicted Injuries
After the assault, investigators say St. John began hitting himself against a door, which caused a cut to his arm. He was taken into custody shortly after the altercation.
Felony Charges Filed
St. John is now charged with felony aggravated assault in Cass County District Court. Additionally, police report that he had an outstanding warrant from Clay County for violating a protection order.
Ongoing Case
St. John remains in custody pending further court proceedings. Authorities have not yet released details on his bond conditions.
