Obituary | Sherry Strebig | Dahl Funeral Home

Sherry May [Kay] Strebig passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 26th, 2022. Sherry was born October 5th, 1955 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Arthur & Roberta (Robinson) Strebig at Deaconess Hospital.

Sherry spent her early childhood in Grand Forks. Her family and her moved between Billings, Montana, and Seattle, Washington, throughout her teens. Sherry moved back to Billings in the mid-70s where she married Arlen Boulduc on September 26th, 1984. They spent the next 26 years together up until his death in 2010. Moving on from her husband’s death proved to be challenging and took a heavy toll on her.

Sherry worked numerous jobs including CNA, painter, and telemarketer, to name a few. When she wasn’t talking your ear off, reading the bible to the senior lady’s book club, telling a dirty joke, or advocating for the underdog, she was spending time with her family. Sherry loved going to family reunions and holidays at her mother’s house in Billings, MT. She had a love for all types of music from George Jones to 2pac. You could call Sherry a movie buff. She enjoyed her true crime, oldies, and horror movies. She loved scaring the pants off her grandkids with Halloween or Friday the 13th. Sherry had a love for cooking, dancing, and her family. Sherry’s family has always been her greatest happiness.

Sherry & Arlen raised seven children: Chris Strebig (Dawn), Randy Strebig, Linsey Boulduc, Arlen Jr Boulduc, Cody Boulduc, Brandi (Jason) Boulduc, and Samantha (Casey) Boulduc; and 13 grandchildren, Mackenize, Kyrin, Ian, Kaysin, Gavin, Mason, Aliyah, Maddie. Lily, Piper, Penelope, Gary, Easton and a granddaughter on the way; along with her grand-animals, Oli, Abby, Juno, Zeus, Gus, Lofi, and Pooks, who she loved dearly.

She is survived by her children & grandchildren; siblings, Roger, Sandy, Kathy, Rose, Carol, and Larry; nieces & nephews; and so many more loved ones. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Arlen; mother, Roberta; father, Arthur; siblings, Mary, Danny, and Linda; and family dog, Harry.

Memorial Service is 11:00am on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at Augustana Lutheran Church, 520 University Avenue, Grand Forks, North Dakota, with Visitation 1 hour prior. Luncheon to follow.
