Kathleen Odelia Zweber
January 12, 1926 – August 7, 2022
Kathleen Odelia Kehrer was born January 12, 1926 in Credit River Township, MN, to Albert and Margaret (Wermerskirchen) Kehrer. Kathleen attended District #70 school in Credit River through eighth grade and graduated from Lakeville High School in 1942, at the age of 16. She attended Globe Business School and afterward was employed in the business and banking world until her marriage.
Kathleen married Clinton Zweber on February 3, 1948 in Lakeville, and they moved to their own dairy farm north of Lakeville where they lived for the next 50 years. Kathleen was a great homemaker and mother, raising six children. Kathleen and Clinton were married for 60 years when Clinton passed away in 2008.
Kathleen was an avid bowler in her younger years and she also loved reading, playing cards, working crosswords and other puzzles.
Kathleen was a life-long member of All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville, She was baptized, confirmed and married there and was an active member of the parish. She volunteered for many things at the church, including serving as a Sacristan, a CCD teacher, a Funeral Lunch Volunteer and was a member of the Rosary Society.
Kathleen passed away on August 7, 2022 at BeeHive Homes of Lakeville. She is survived by children, Julian Zweber, Judy Pearson Diller (Victor), Karen Harrell, Monica Rittenhouse (Dave), Peggy Delmonico (Dave); 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Jill Zweber, sisters-in-law Marge Kehrer and Gloria Zweber. She was preceded in death by husband, Clinton Zweber, son Terry Zweber, her parents Albert and Margaret and brothers John (infant), Julian, LeRoy and Richard Kehrer.
Funeral Mass 11:00 AM, Monday, August 22, 2022, All Saints Catholic Church. 19795 Holyoke Ave., Lakeville. Visitation Sunday, August 21 from 2 – 5 pm at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville and 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
