James Alan Haire, 71, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Thief River Care Center, Thief River Falls, MN.
Burial will be at a later date.
James Alan Haire was born on March 3, 1953, to Chester and Patricia (Converse) Haire in Middleborough, Massachusetts. James attended elementary school and high school in Middleborough, graduating with the class of 1971. The family moved to Halma, Minnesota after graduating.
James worked various jobs in the area including trucking for Campbell and Artic Cat. He worked at Walmart in Thief River Falls in the maintenance department for 15 years until he retired.
James married Leticia Jimenez on July 25, 1981, in Warsaw, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Karlstad, Minnesota for many years before moving to Brooks, Minnesota.
James enjoyed flying miniature airplanes, fishing, rummage sales, driving around the area, and spending time with his wife and friends.
James is survived by his wife Leticia Haire of Brooks, MN; his dad, Chester (Chet) Haire of Fertile, MN; siblings, Dave (Sharon) Haire of New Hampshire, Tom (Debbie) of New Hampshire, Wendy (Kevin) Larson of Fertile, MN, Peter Haire of Minneapolis, MN, Chuck Haire, and Ann Haire; several nieces and nephews; friend David Walters of Brooks, MN.
James is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Haire.
