Bruce Jones, 57 of Goodridge, MN passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his residence.
A gathering time for family and friends will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with a 2:00 PM Prayer Service on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Obit in Thief River Falls, MN. Rev. Kris Snyder will officiate. Burial will be at Goodridge Cemetery, Goodridge, MN at a later date.
Bruce Duane Jones was born February 7, 1967 at Nash, ND, the son of Wallace and Janice (Warne) Jones. He graduated from Goodridge High School.
Bruce was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Roden, they lived in Thief River Falls and Bemidji.
He worked at various places in the Thief River Falls area including, cooking at Seven Clans Casino, driving limousine for Bergen Travel for several years, and his most enjoyable job was driving semi hauling grain and beets for various farmers.
After the passing of his stepdad, Bruce became full time care giver for his mother until her passing in January 2023. Even though his health was deteriorating, Bruce was always ready to help others in need.
He enjoyed dancing, hunting, cooking, playing pool and darts.
Survivors include his brothers, Gary Jones, Fosston, MN and Brian (Mary Polly) Jones, of Guthrie, OK; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brothers, Harlan, Wallace Jr., AlRay, and Sherman Jones; and stepfather, Keith DeLong.
