Brooks William Wagner was born on November 30, 2020 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of William and Catherine (Whetzel) Wagner and proud big brother Laken.  Brooks was one day shy of one year old.  He was such a smiley, deep-dimpled, sweet little boy.  You could always recognize Brooks by his long, curly locks that his daddy enjoyed styling.  In between him enjoying his toddler snacks, he enjoyed watching his big brother Laken play.  You could tell by the look in his eyes that he couldn’t wait to be big just like his brother.  Brooks loved to sing with his daddy and dance with his mommy.

A week prior to his passing, Brooks took his first two steps.  He was learning to blow kisses and wave hello and goodbye to everyone.  His personality was really starting to develop – especially his humorous side.  Brooks captured the room with his many facial expressions.  He touched the lives of so many in his short time here on earth.  Brooks was a bright spark in this world.  He will forever be loved and always be missed.

Brooks is survived by his loving parents, Willie and Cat, along with his big brother, Laken; grandparents, Deb (Darcie) Ludeman of Morson, Ontario, Canada, Carl (Sandy) Whetzel III of East Grand Forks, MN, Patty (Otto) Wagner of Newfolden, MN; great-grandparents, Wally and Liz Detweiler of Morson, ON and Donna Whetzel of Keezletown, VA; aunts, Emily (Tom Copenace) Whetzel of Onigaming First Nation, ON, Sarah, Madi, and DJ Whetzel and Shay Copenace of Morson, ON; uncles, Matt (Alayna) Wagner of Ada, MN, Casey (Amanda) Wagner of Badger, MN, Tony Wagner of Holt, MN; cousins, Fox Copenace, Kendall and Chloe Wagner, Bryston, Brevyn, Brynleigh, Brecklyn, and Briggyn Wagner; and numerous great aunts and great uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Wagner; great-grandparents, Carl Whetzel Jr., Floyd and Mary Otto, John and Bernice Wagner; several great-aunts and great-uncles, along with many other loving family members.
