CITY OF THIEF RIVER FALLS
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Chapter 152 of the Thief River Falls City Code, that Nile, Inc., 700 Main Avenue, Fargo, ND 58103 has submitted a request to re-zone certain real property from General Business District (C-2) to Multi-Family Residential District (R-4). The property is legally described as follows:
Part of Lot 3, Block 1 Oakland Park Fourth Addition to the City of Thief River Falls, according to the recorded plat thereof, on file and of record in the office of the Pennington County Recorder in the State of Minnesota lying southerly of the following described line:
Commencing at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 3; thence North 23⁰48’23” West along the westerly line of said Lot 3, a distance of 59.44 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence North 66⁰08’08” East 126.35 feet; thence South 90⁰00’00” East 335.42 feet, more or less, to the easterly line of said Lot 3 and there terminating. This parcel contains 1.12 acres, more or less, subject to rights of way and easements of sight and record.
Notice is further given that the Planning Commission will conduct a Hearing on the Re-Zoning Request at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 405 Third Street East, Thief River Falls, MN 56701. All persons wishing to comment on the Re-Zoning Request will have the option to be heard at this time. Persons who wish to submit written comments prior to the Hearing or who have questions should address them to the office of the Zoning Administrator, City Hall, P.O. Box 528, Thief River Falls, MN 56701, or telephone 218-681-8506.
